The iPad gets a whopping 89.3 percent of tablet website traffic, while Android tablets get 8.2 percent and the Kindle gets 2.51 percent. That means nearly 9 of every 10 users that visit an ecommerce site from a tablet are using an iPad. Not only are more iPad users shopping on the devices, they’re spending more, too. The average ecommerce order from an iPad user is $99.05, while an Android tablet user spends an average of $95.48.
