As you probably know by now, the United States Small Business Administration (SBA) is celebrating National Women Small Business Month with a series of web chats. What you may not know if you’ve been too busy to catch the chats is that archives of them are available free on the SBA web site.
They’ve had three chats out of the four scheduled (we’ll come back to the fourth momentarily). Here’s a quick list of the chats, linked to the archived version.
- Starting and Growing Your Business with Erin Andrew, Office of Entrepreneurial Development
- Finding Capital with Pravina Raghavan, Director, SBA New York City District Office
- Contracting with the Federal Government with John Shoraka, Associate Administrator, Office of Government Contracting and Business Development
It’s certainly great news that such valuable information is still available, but here’s even better news – if you’re free at 2pm Eastern, on Thursday, October 25, 2012, you can make it to the last web chat! It’s called Business Opportunities for Young Women. Your host will be Ana Harvey, the Assistant Administrator for the Office of Women’s Business Ownership, and you can submit questions here up until the time of the chat.
If you’re looking for other resources for women in business from the SBA, have a look at their pages on local Women Business Centers, Women Business resources and Women-Owned Businesses as places to start your search.
