6 Effective Ways to Improve Your Visual Marketing

As a B2B small business owner, I’m always looking for ways to improve my visual marketing efforts, which, to be honest, have fallen by the wayside lately. So don’t worry, you are not alone.

When I saw this blog post on Social Media Examiner about visual marketing, I had to check it out. A lot of suggestions were super basic, so I pulled out the ones I thought were more unusual but still fun and easy to do.

Here are 6 effective ways to improve your visual marketing:

1. Add text to photos

This is something I’ve been wanting to try, as photos with text allow you to deliver the message you want to share, rather than leaving it open to interpretation.

Photo editing tools to try: Ribbet, Fotor, Pizap, PicMonkey

2. Create a collage

Get a few messages across at once – or just create a bolder statement – by creating a collage of several images.

Collage-making tools to try: Getloupe, PhotoCollage, Fotor, PicMonkey

3. Change your Facebook cover frequently

Keep things interesting by changing up your Facebook cover photo every once in a while. Make things more interesting by using one of the tools below to make your cover photo super creative.

Tools to try: CoverCanvas, Cover Photo Magic, Pic Scatter

4. Share how-to images

Cooking and home improvement publications have been sharing how-to images for years, and there’s no reason you can’t try it too, especially if you are an expert at complicated tasks.

5. Develop infographics

Because infographics convey boring or complex information and data in a visually appealing way, they are shared a lot on social media.

Tools to try: Piktochart, Easel.ly, Infogr.am

6. Visualize text

Quotes and reviews are both highly shareable. Try Quozio to turn a text quote into a visual quote. As for reviews, just take a screenshot and share the image.

Are there any other photo-editing or visualization tools you like to use that I missed?
