Think again. According to a recent study, veterans of post-9/11 wars have a 10 percent unemployment rate, higher than the national average. Scammers are trying to fool Americans looking for health insurance information by setting up fake websites that look like the new health insurance exchanges.               When marketing to family households, have you taken into account the multitudes of Milliennials who are living with their parents during and after (in some cases, way after) college? The Pew Research Center’s latest report on the living arrangements of Americans shows that the number of young adults between the ages of 18 and 31 is at its highest level in 40 years. In 2012, 36 percent of the nation’s young adults were living in their parents’ home. The reasons for staying under their parents’ roof varied widely—some young adults couldn’t find a job, while others were still attending college. Read more…

                Are you feeling good about your business’s prospects for the coming year? You’re not alone. U.S. small business owners are feeling more optimistic about their futures than they have been at any time since the Great Recession hit in 2008, a recent Gallup poll shows. Although small business owners’ spirits still haven’t reached pre-recession levels, The Wells Fargo/Gallup Small Business Index improved to +25 in July, up from +16 in the second quarter of this year.
