Is your small business keeping pace with your peers in how you’re using mobile technology to grow? Although small business owners are feeling increasingly optimistic about their businesses’ prospects, the latest Capital One’s Spark Business Barometer reports, more small business owners are feeling pessimistic about the overall state of the economy. To succeed in what they perceive as an increasingly challenging economy, they’re turning to mobile technology to increase sales and work more efficiently. Some 40 percent of small businesses nationwide report their sales increased in the past six months—an increase of 8 percent since the prior survey. Read more…

      Millennial consumers are underemployed, living at home with their parents and struggling to pay off crippling student loans, so they have no disposable income to speak of—right? Wrong, according to a study conducted by AOL and reported by eMarketer. While Millennials may not have the spending power of, say, upscale Baby Boomers, they also make way more impulse purchases than the average consumer.
