Our humble publication was featured today in an article called Why Women in Business Are Flocking to Twitter Chat in CNN’s Leading Women section. (And you can find it in the Business section as well, as was just pointed out to me). Community members Shannon Mouton and Ify Nwabuje were quoted, as was I.
Women Grow Business monthly Twitter chats may be absolutely fabulous, but we aren’t the only chat in the world. Shocking right?
I’ll be there, and I hope you will be too. (C’mon, you have plenty of time to get back from happy hour, and no good party gets cranking before midnight.)
How do you follow Twitter chats?
- Log into Twitter, Tweetchat, Tweetgrid, Tweetdeck, or any other Twitter tool that lets you isolate a hashtag.
- Follow the hashtag for the chat. (In Twitter you can use the search at the top of the screen, in Tweetchat or Tweetgrid, once you’re logged in, you’ll see an area for you to enter the hashtag at the top of the screen. In Tweetdeck, you can create a column that searches for that hashtag)
- Arrive as early as 11:45 a.m. to introduce yourself, send us a link to your site, and share your latest project, as well as to meet the other chatters.
- Make sure you’re following the host and featured guest(s) if any. This way, you can easily follow the conversation, send questions during the chat, or follow up later.
- Have fun!
