Could the Next WGB Editor Be… You?

Just another Tequila Sunset...Things change. People move on. That’s the cycle of life. Right?

And now it’s happening here at Women Grow Business. So I’ll get straight to the point.

Effective September 16, I will no longer be editing Women Grow Business. I have had an absolute blast picking up where Jill Foster left off, and I can’t begin to tell you (ok, I could begin, but I’d never end) how much fun it has been working with the bloggers and the folks at Network Solutions, and expanding the Women Grow Business community.

I adore Women Grow Business. But ironically, it is a factor of my own growing business – what WGB is all about! – that necessitates this. Which just goes to show how valuable the WGB community is.

It was tough for me to make this decision, but it’s the right one to make, and I can’t tell you how grateful I am to Network Solutions, the bloggers, and all those closely associated with Women Grow Business for their support. But it’s time.

What you need to be:

  • A woman (that should go without saying, but I’m going to say it anyway)
  • Familiar with, and confident of, editing in WordPress and the basics of SEO
  • Willing to actively solicit and edit posts that educate women entrepreneurs, and those who wish to join their ranks
  • Willing to manage WGB’s social media outposts, including our Facebook and LinkedIn groups, and the monthly #wgbiz Twitter chat
  • Committed to nurturing a dynamic community of women entrepreneurs, all of whom contribute their expertise and advice to this blog voluntarily

What you’ll get:

  • Access to a truly remarkable community
  • A unique platform to showcase yourself as an editor and community builder
  • Way more smarts from women entrepreneurs from all around the world than you could ever have imagined

So if you’re interested in becoming the next WGB editor, please send an email to Shashi Bellamkonda at smedia [a] networksolutions [dot] com, indicating your interest. The sooner you do this, the better, because already a lot of fabulous ladies have indicated interest.

And to everyone who has cheered me on this journey and supported me along the way – thank you.
