Record-Breaking Twitter Chat with @JillFoster – The Summary

#wgb TwitterchatFab Chat with Fellow Women in Business!

Our twitter chat with the incredible Jill Foster of Live Your Talk was record-breaking,  in more ways than one.

During this chat we saw some local DC influencers who support our local events and community but are rarely able to attend. We also were able to get the most questions, ever, on on our topic: “Are You the Public Speaker You Hope to Be?”.

Our 462 tweets reached potentially 1,042,372 people with 5,364,129 impressions via 79 distinct tweeters. That’s twice as many as one of our summer chats. And that’s the widest reach we’ve Ever had. Amazingly, this was with minimal promotion – people just love Jill (told ya!) and showed up to get the rare opportunity to get advice from her directly.

The next best thing to having attended the chat in real time is to download the transcript. Here’s not one, but two tweets tied for most retweeted, so you can see why.

Later, she went on to say:

Chat conflict with your schedule? Not able to make it to the whole event? While it’s true that the energy of a live Twitter chat is hard to duplicate, luckily for you, as with all our 2012 chats, we have a report available online or for download [pdf]. As you peruse it, in whatever format you chose, take a few minutes to connect with other members of the community. You never know who you might meet.
