Nielsen analyzed consumer transactions across 14 countries to see how people are shopping, and while spending intentions are definitely on the rise, the number of actual trips to the store, per household, is either flat or declining. So how can you get your customers to make more frequent visits to your small business? Offer coupons and deals that require visiting in person. Set up free classes to learn something related to your store. Have a customer appreciation sale offering free giveaways and contests where customers have to be present to win.
