These days, consumers check prices and product information online before they ever walk into a store. Why aren’t your retail workers able to do the same? They should be able to, and more and more retail stores are arming their staff with the ability to do so. New Forrester data shows that 65 percent of U.S. shoppers expect the store staff to be able to check on product pricing and information on a mobile device such as a tablet or smartphone. Can’t afford to give everyone a device? Set one up in the store for workers and/or customers to use so they can check for product specs, reviews and other information they can’t find on the packaging.
