1’s Free Business Forum Expands Across the United Stateswebcom

As we’ve written about in previous months, started a successful local business forum series, following the sites of the Tour last year.

The backstory: in June 2012, became the umbrella sponsor of the Tour and an official marketing partner of the PGA TOUR. They then developed the Small Business Forums as a way to bring additional benefit to communities where Tour and PGA TOUR events are held.

At these forums, experts from would discuss things like:

  1. market a small business using social media
  2. search marketing pointers for business people
  3. how to enchance your business web presence
  4. and increasing your website traffic

… just to name a few. These live events were presented free of charge, and 25 more of them are to be launched across the United States before the end of 2013.The first one of this year will happen in conjunction with the Chitimacha Louisiana Open on March 21st. will host these Small Business Forums in conjunction with SCORE, America’s premier source of free and confidential small business advice. (Previously known as Service Corps Of Retired Executives, the organization is now commonly known as SCORE.)

Why did SCORE  become involved in the Business Forums?

“SCORE’s mission is to grow successful businesses across America, one at a time,” says W. Kenneth Yancey, Jr., SCORE CEO. “Small businesses are the engine of our economy, and both SCORE and are excited about this opportunity to reach more small businesses and help them succeed.”

All of the events are free, and even include a few goodies. Just remember that you MUST register to attend – you cannot just show up.
