When it comes to slashing costs, small businesses know technology is not the place to cut back. According to AT&T’s Accelerate Your Business Broadband Poll, 63 percent of small businesses with 11 to 20 employees plan to upgrade their broadband technology this year in order to increase productivity. Other small business tech priorities include increasing Internet speed (39 percent), increasing their use of social media to find new customers (47 percent), and doing more digital marketing (39 percent). Small businesses also know customers expect fast responses; that’s why 28 percent will invest in improving their online response time this year.
