Your Casting Call: Producers Want Small Business Owners for TV Show ‘Home Made Simple’

Does this ring a bell?

You love running your own business.

And you love your family life too i.e. your home and all the family-based projects and routines like sharing meals together.

But even though your business and family are great…: Does it still seem a mighty challenge to accomplish desired goals in both business and home at the rate you’d like? My friends, colleagues, and I share similar feelings (with a lot of angst, as expressed here on Women Grow Business). Even balancing the basics – like organizing your home office or preparing meals – can be tough. I’ve pined away for an imaginary magic scientist that could replicate the self into an army to get it all done.

The tv producers of Home Made Simple want to help!

Recently I had the pleasure of brainstorming with Croi McNamara, producer of the hit TLC show Home Made Simple.

She reached out to Women Grow Business for small business owners who may want to participate in the show’s sixth season. We connected here at the blog, email, and phone with some exciting ideas.

Check out Croi’s recent comment below. She’s ready to learn your story about balancing your business and home.

Croi writes:
I am a producer with TLC on our hit show called Home Made Simple. We are currently casting for families in the DC area for the 6th season of the show. We would love to cast an entrepreneur/small business owner from your organization! We all know how hard it is to work and have a family, but to have your own business on top of everything, even more complicated!

In a nutshell, Home Made Simple is a home and lifestyle show, where we send our three experts – a chef, a designer, and a carpenter – to the homes of busy, dynamic and interesting families and help them with any projects they have been trying to get to. If it’s installing new shelving, organizing an in-home office or learning how to make a delicious and wholesome Sunday dinner, our experts can help.
